I’m a film, series & talks programmer, industry strategist and creative producer with 15 years’ experience in the creative sector.  Recently, I was a Manager on Netflix’s Festivals and Awards team, leading on strategy for talent-focused awards screening programmes, convening panels, Q&As and talks in support of 30+ titles over the past year — this included work on Maestro, Rustin, The Deepest Breath, American Symphony, May December, NYAD, The Kitchen, Top Boy, Black Mirror, The Crown, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and more.

Previously, I cut my teeth as a film and talks programmer at the Toronto International Film Festival year-round over 8 festivals, contributing to programming for the Secret Movie Club: Contemporary World Cinema, Books on Film, Food on Film, TIFF Cinematheque and In Conversation With… series.

Once moving to London, I led on moderating and producing film & TV talks programmes for a new tier of membership, BAFTA Connect, as well as producing high-profile masterclasses to engage above- and below-the-line voters as part of the industry programme.   This was a continuation of my work in talent development at Film London and the British Film Commission, where I oversaw workshops, commissioning and development schemes for a diverse group of emerging UK-based filmmakers. 

With a keen creative eye and a depth of knowledge across many genres and formats, I’m a trusted moderator who can confidently host talks with clear audience takeaways that align with strategic aims.  In the past, I’ve conducted long-form, on-stage interviews with film practitioners such as: documentarian Matthew Heineman (American Symphony, Cartel Land), filmmakers Janicza Bravo (Zola), Charlotte Regan (Scrapper), Prano Bailey Bond (Censor), Rob Savage (Host), Koby Adom (Noughts & Crosses), casting directors Shaheen Baig (at Film London), and Kelly Valentine Hendry (at BFI Future Film Festival 2024), panels on mental health and wellbeing in film, on TV commissioning, shorts programming, co-productions, moving over to immersive, games x filmmaking and more.
